"Trendy Tuesday - Clothing"
Hello friends. So, I haven't done a Forever 21 post in while... I thought it would be nice to share my current favorites from their selection of tops - like my title? ;) Let's go ahead and get right to it!
Loving the color! It's a unique, "rusty" shade of orange. The all-over lace makes this top so delicate and romantic, as well as gives it a nice vintage inspired vibe :) I would absolutely wear a cami underneath something like this.
Oh my, I just adore the pearl embellished bib of this one! What lady doesn't love the look of pearls, right? As much as I enjoy necklaces, no need for one here. The fluttery sleeves add a lovely touch of whimsy. Colors like this are pretty much flattering on everyone :)
Of course, I couldn't leave out a shabby-chic type of floral print! A bit hard to pick up from the photo, this top actually has a lace overlay. The neckline and thick straps are modest enough for me, but you could still even pair this with some kind of shrug or cardi. I love the fact that while the print is so colorful, it's done in a soft palette to avoid looking like "too much".
What do you think of when you look at this cardigan? My first thought was...Bill Cosby! Yes, I was a frequent viewer of "The Cosby Show" when I was younger. Gosh, I still love it...such a classic! Mr. Cosby really has the power to lift spirits. Any hoodle, I would totally wear this with a dark pair of jeans, a fab handbag, and some fun jewelry.
Whenever I'm clothes shopping, I always look for tops like this! And when I say "like this", I mean the cut/shape. I think the smocking at the waist is flattering, comfortable, and just plain adorable. The sheer fabric is romantic, and the gathering at the sleeves/neckline is feminine - just what I like! I own a few tops like this...they're the best :)
