Yes to Tomatoes "Facial Hydrating Lotion" Review & Photos

"Skincare Saturday"

Hello little lovelies. So, who's familiar with the fabulous skincare line that is "Yes to Carrots"? I first became aware of their products a couple of years ago, when a magazine I was reading had compared them to "Burt's Bees". Because I love the Burt's products so much, I just had to check out what Yes to Carrots had to offer!

Within this line of skincare are four collections. Each one is made up of an array of products formulated for particular needs.

Yes to Carrots (the original)
for those with normal to dry skin

Yes to Cucumbers
for those with sensitive skin

Yes to Tomatoes
for those with combo to oily skin

Yes to Blueberries (new!)
for those with mature skin
-or- those looking for age prevention

There's even a baby division of Yes to Carrots made specially for the little ones ;) Any who, the main reason why I adore these products is because just like with Burt's Bees, they're packed full of natural and organic ingredients that are super healthy and beneficial for your skin. The company is against animal testing, which is always a plus for me.

The product up for review today is from the tomatoes group, and it's called "Totally Tranquil Facial Hydrating Lotion". I like to use this as a night moisturizer, because it does not contain spf. It's also free of parabens. What it does contain are organic tomatoes, watermelon chamomile, and dead sea minerals. It's great for keeping oil at bay, while providing the appropriate amount of moisture to my skin. If you need something that brings a greater amount of moisture to the table, I suggest trying the carrots "Repairing Night Creme".

The consistency is pretty thin, so it sinks into my skin with ease. I enjoy the scent, which is fresh, pleasant, and in no way overbearing. It doesn't take much product to get the job done. I use one pump for my face, as well as one for my neck. The bottle holds 1.7 ounces, so it should end up lasting at least two months.

I give the packaging a strong A! The bottle is made out of clear plastic. The cap has a nice snap, which is good for travel. I love the pump... I know that most of us prefer bottles that come with a pump over those that do not.

Well, I hope this review was helpful! I'll be reviewing the Yes to Carrots body lotion in the near future. Have you tried any of their products? Thank you for reading!

xoxo,
Bri
